A New Week

Today was a lot more structured. The girls had a plan written out for the day and they stuck to it pretty close. It seemed to go a little easier when they knew exactly what they had lined up for the day. Kaci is getting another fan club. She walks through the halls pushing the dolly around and has to visit with everyone in their offices. She is constantly being cheered on by everyone in the room. Today she got to play "corn hole" with some of the other participants. She had a ball and they all got a big kick out of her. She gets such a thrill out of everyone yelling and clapping for her, it helps her do better because she knows she will get even more attention. She is such a ham, but if it helps motivate her to do better that's OK with me.
She actually had her cast off for most of the day and she still did pretty well. The professor is pretty worried about her left arm being in a cast overnight, so they take it off every few days to check her arm. Every time it gets taken off, it gets harder and harder to get one back on her. It's not like she refuses, but it takes more to distract her. It took a while today and she fell asleep while they were putting it back on her. It was a lot easier after that. She is being a trooper and I couldn't be more proud of her.
