Kaci had another good day at therapy. She played in a pop-up playhouse and had a great time playing that she was running a drive-up window restaurant. She made a bracelet with beads and they had races down the hall pushing one another on little carts. They were yelling and encouraging her to push them and having a great old time until they realized that there was a class being held in one of the rooms that they were racing by!
I posted the picture even though it came out a little blurry because it gives you a better idea what they were doing.
At lunch time we went outside and she met a little boy playing out there just her age and she really enjoyed playing with someone her own age for just a little while.
They opened up the thumb on her right hand with another piece of material hooked with Velcro. It helps her keep it extended instead of curling under. By the time we got home she had managed to bite it off, so I guess they will have to reapply it tomorrow.
I still have a hard time believing that she is making it through 6 hours of therapy a day. It tires me out…….
