Friday

Today Kaci started off slowly, but soon she was her normal self and working hard. As I started to see last night, she was using righty with little hesitation. She was pointing to Big Bird and pushing open doors.

They started using more rewards for her and when she earned 5 stars she was allowed to go outside. She wasn't really interested in using the sidewalk chalk, but they let her throw rocks into the pond and she did pretty well with that. Overall she had a good day.

When she got home we were putting a puzzle together and she was able to pick up the pieces all by herself. She had a little trouble getting them to fit right. She also played with her Playdoh. She squished it with a little help from lefty and got a huge kick out of herself. She is still using her mouth to move a lot of things around the house, but I just keep encouraging her to use her right hand. I have to say it's a funny sight to see her walk out of her bedroom dragging her blanket with her teeth.

Amy, thank you for keeping us updated. Kaci is such a trooper and you have every right to be proud of her. Your English major is showing up in your writing. I bet all of the other people enjoy seeing Kaci's accomplishments and wish they could make the same progress. Being young really helps Love you,Aunt Bev

Love Jen!
